6 SS 2017 Pieces/Collections From Milan Men’s Fashion Week

At Milan Menswear Fashion Week SS 2017 we got to see the Diesel Black Gold collection for the next summer. Very 2000 looking baggy pants (yumm!) next to matching tight jackets in airy colours & monotone outfits together with tight pants, stripes, tight high waist jackets & T-shirts – all great looking pieces for the next summer.

Neil Barrett had a pleasant show with wearable pieces influenced by the 70’s and 80’s, mixed together, looking just ready for day to day life. Colors are strong but earthy with brown dominating the entire show. The best of the collection are the trousers with a graphic twist, excellent for matching with different cuts and fabrics.

Les Hommes added new elements like gold and white embroidery to black pieces – bomber jackets and sweatshirts. The result is a wearable collection, very down to earth, masculine and showy. Love it!

Versace had the best looking coats and jackets in its SS 2017 men’s collection. Blue and purple are quite a sight when used on see-through/waterproof fabrics. The raincoats looked amazing, so as the long hooded jackets.

Ports 1961 created quite a unique look for the SS 2017 collection, adding elements like motif embroidery to shorts and various tops, such as shirts and sweatshirts. It transformed the skater into someone who loves fashion. This is a nice collection with a lot of good pieces to wear next to different fabrics and styles.

One of the best shows from SS 2017 Milan Men’s Fashion Week, if not THE best, Etro brought fashion and real life on the runway. Men of different ages walked in loose summery clothes, with various prints. Colours ranged from shades of purple to reds, greys and yellows. Conclusion: a vibrant, wearable and warm collection for men of all ages.
