Best Of Paris Men’s Fashion Week – Day 2

DRIES VAN NOTEN

Belgian designer Dries Van Noten had a fabulous show for his SS menswear 2017 collection. Models took the runway with force on a extended version of UNKLE’s track  -“Burn My Shadow”, very much in tune with the whole show.

Clothes were loose, looked comfortable and very Dries Van Noten. I love the all over print pieces, especially the hooded coats. The show had several looks with large sweaters which had an unfinished and raw look, which I liked. It fits together with the prints and loosens of the clothes. Other pieces: wide leg pants, loose baggy shorts and printed bomber jackets.

BORIS BIDJAN SABERI

Boris Bidjan Saberi menswear collection is another successful show for SS 2017. I like the choice of colours and the monotone rhythm. Back to the colours, let’s just say WOW!  Shades of yellow and orange, from the lightest to darkest, mixed together or with grey or black, looked unbelievable on modern edgy looking pieces, like sleeveless coats, baggy shorts, boots, gloves and rucksacks.

The show had several looks with black, grey and white, keeping the already established clean rhythm of the collection.
