For this coming Fall/Winter season, Givenchy has made streetwear fashion look creative but wearable, giving us trendy layers, art related prints and few other more accents. The collection combines the man and the boy, with the looks of old-schooled duffle coats next to overalls and stripes.
You’ll see the last mentioned in different sizes and combinations, in orange, red or blue. Then the collection moves on to checker prints which appear mostly on shirts and worn under V-neck pieces.
Totem prints designed with kabuki accents were captured in a zoom-in manner and presented as knitwears, sweatshirts and tank tops.
The old and new mixture seems to be the structure of this collection, and we get to see it even in the smallest details, like the colorful wooden toggles versus glass earrings. The latter have a magnifying quality to the material, which completes the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2017 collection on an interesting note.
