CHANEL: A Tribute To Juliane Moore

I’ve been missing seeing Chanel in the media lately, and then it happened, a small event that had me get the needed dosage of glam and class. With this out of the way, I can now talk about what it was.

Held in New York, at MOMA, the event gathered friends and supporters to celebrate Julianne Moore under a long and fancy title event: The Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit presented by CHANEL: A Tribute to Julianne Moore. Chanel and Julianne Moore in the same sentence equal a rush of excitement, cause I’m in love with both subjects. For such an occasion the actress brought two of her family members to join in – husband and daughter. Kristen Stewart, Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Seinfeld and Jerry Seinfeld, designer Rachel Roy were there, looking just as classy and refined.

I have to talk a bit about how everyone behaved fashion-wise. Kristen Stewart integrated her cropped top signature into a pants and jacket ensemble, while Moore opted for sparks and a touch of sensuality. Metallic made quite an appearance among the silhouettes – let’s not forget it is a powerful trend for SS 2018 – why not wear it already? And, last but not least, I’m having a big crush on Jessica Seinfeld’s lovely pink and brown dress.

Ellen Pompeo’s pink Co Resort 2018 dress is such a lovely sight on her petite figure. The shape is tasteful, while those ruffles make for the perfect details to a wonderful yet simple dress.

Congratulations to Cate Blanchett on her InStyle magazine Style Icon award to which she added an amazing speech – “Just because women dress sexy doesn’t mean we want to **** you!”. She’s one of a kind fashionista and a fierce woman. Love her. Her dress is Givenchy SS 2018.

Elle Fanning took my breath away with her sort of naughty hair, which comes as a big change to what we are used seeing from her, fashion-wise. And yes, her dress is Versace, from the iconic show Donatella held for her brother just last month, at Milan Fashion Week.

Fashion: Best of Red Carpet from Annual Teen Choice Awards 2017

Besides tons of awards and loved winners, there was also fashion happening at Annual Teen Choice Awards 2017 on August 13. It is true that it’s not the event to show up dressed as you would for the Oscars, but celebrities did the best they could at looking appropriately dressed and styled. I’ve picked four best looks, so here is my fifty cent on every one of them.

Actress Ariela Barer went for the romantic black of Helo Rocha Spring 2017, but she changed the vibe of her dress by wearing it with a mesh top and black pumps. She then accentuated her good-girl look with soft smokey eyes and an unpretentious natural updo.

Madelaine Petsch and Riverdale’s cast won seven awards at the Teen Choice Awards and Petsch herself won the Choice Hissy Fit. As for her wardrobe, she’s chosen just the right outfit and colors to highlight her red hair and skin color. I love her Genny Spring 2017 white embroidered ensemble, with shorts and long puffy sleeves blouse.

Maddie Zeigler grows up in front of our eyes, and every time I’m seeing pictures with her, she looks much taller than before. For this year’s Annual Teen Choice Awards she dressed up in Zac Posen Resort 2018, with printed jacket and trousers, and she looked mighty stylish.

Emeraude Toubia’s lavender embroidered wrap dress is a magical vision, reminding of romance and sensuality. It makes me wanna have it and wear it all day, every day.

G-Dragon Wraps-Up Album Status With New Music Video Release

Officially out today, June 8th, 2017, the five tracks self-titled album “Kwon Ji Yong” of artist G-Dragon represents the perfect appetizer for concert goers, prior GD’s second world tour Act III, M.O.T.T.E, starting June the 10th at World Cup Stadium in the city of Seoul.

In this album, we get to catch up with what has been happening in GD’s life, with track “Untitled 2014” being the most suggestive of all. For this sentimental piece, the artist released a much-anticipated music video, with it officially sealing the status for the newly released album, from the studio to the and for the fans and public.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a music video to “Superstar”. Speaking of music videos, I’m wondering to which one was GD filming for just days ago. A glimpse of the artist’s new hairstyle made the rounds of the internet, rumored to be from a music video filming. We can only wait and see.

This recent album release is not the first musical deed we get from the artist for 2017. Singer IU surprised everyone by having GD as a guest rapper on her Palette track and earlier this year for his “OO” album, artist Zion released the “Complex” track featuring G-Dragon.
