Winners of GQ Men of the Year Award Germany

GQ Men of the Year Award brought together a variety of handsome and accomplished personalities from music, film, fashion, and sport, from the German scene and internationally, together in one place, under the roof of The Komische Oper Berlin, in the heart of Berlin, on November 9. Singer Mark Forster was there to open the gala on the rhythms of his track Chore, and by the end of it, he introduced the host, none other than TV personality Barbara Schonenberg.

All the awards brought a story to tell in front of the well dressed and predominantly young audience and guests. German football star Philipp Lahm left home with the Sports Icon Award and darling Matthias Schweighöfer won Actor National Award. Speaking of film, director Bora Dağtekin was joined by the cast after his comedy and trilogy movie ‘Fack ju Göhte’ won the Movie National Awards.
Comedy ‘Willkommen bei den Hartmanns’ received Special Achievements Award.

Fashion-wise – American fashion designer Thom Browne received his Designer of the Year award with a sweet thank you; Johannes Huebl won Influencer of the Year Awards; British model David Gandy won Style Icon Awards.

Legend of the Century Award went to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Music: Mark Forster won Music National Award; American singer Gregory Porter won Music International Award. Both artists entertained the audience throughout the event with their craft.
